I am the Founder of EkartCo and a seasoned technology trainer with extensive experience in designing and delivering high-impact software solutions and technical training programs. Over the course of my career, I have trained 2,000+ professionals through 200+ hands-on training sessions, enabling individuals and teams to build practical, production-ready skills.

My core areas of expertise include Generative AI, Kubernetes, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Big Data, and DevOps, with a strong emphasis on real-world implementation, scalability, and industry best practices.

Throughout my professional journey, I have held diverse technical and leadership roles, including Coder, Ethical Hacker, Software Engineer, Architect, Project Manager, and Chief Technology Officer at a fintech ML startup. I have been a professor at Westphalian University of Applied Sciences in Bocholt since 2020. My field of expertise is on software engineering, cloud computing, and modern software development. I completed my Ph.D. in the field of operations research and artificial intelligence.

Prior to this, I worked for almost a decade as a (cloud) solution architect in a corporate environment. In addition to technology, my role also included responsibility for projects, personnel, and budgets within my solution domain.

I place great importance on practical relevance and feasibility. For this reason, before taking on the architect role, I worked for several years as a developer and was trained as an architect through an excellence program.

I have been working as a trainer since 2021, primarily focusing on “special topics” within the mentioned areas of expertise. Thanks to my dual roles as a professor and trainer, I am able to present what is often rather dry material in a practical and engaging way, allowing participants in my courses to gain immediate, tangible value for their professional work.
